Abstract

Imam Abdulrahman Al-Mu’allimi focuses in his approach on spiritually nurturing the Muslim individual through achieving seven fundamental aspects. Such process starts with correcting beliefs, as he thinks that proper faith is as the foundation upon which true belief is built. He emphasizes that it is important to perform the obligations of Islam, considering them essential pillars for the development of both individuals and societies. He also stresses that supererogatory deeds must be maintained to be closer to Allah and to strengthen the spiritual connection with Him.

Imam Abdulrahman Al-Mu’allimi places great importance on avoiding sins, viewing them as obstacles to the purity of the heart and soul. Regarding interactions, he highlights the significance of good manners and noble ethics in a Muslim's life and his relationships with others. Imam Abdulrahman Al-Mu’allimi underscores the role of moral education in refining the soul and cultivating virtues, in addition to emphasizing the importance of contemplating the verses of Allah to deepen understanding of the religion's purposes and to strengthen faith.

المستخلص

يركز الإمام عبد الرحمن المعلمي في منهجه على بناء الإنسان المسلم روحيًا من خلال تحقيق سبعة محاور أساسية. يبدأ بتصحيح العقيدة، حيث يرى أن العقيدة الصحيحة هي الأساس الذي يقوم عليه الإيمان، ويؤكد أهمية القيام بفرائض الإسلام باعتبارها أركانًا لا غنى عنها في بناء الفرد والمجتمع. يشدد أيضًا على المحافظة على النوافل لزيادة التقرب إلى الله وتعزيز الصلة الروحية به.

كما يولي أهمية كبيرة لاجتناب المعاصي باعتبارها عقبة أمام نقاء القلب وصفاء النفس. وفي جانب التعاملات، يركز على أهمية المعاملات الحسنة والأخلاق الكريمة في حياة المسلم وعلاقاته مع الآخرين. يُبرز الإمام المعلمي دور التربية الخُلقية في تهذيب النفس وتطوير الفضائل، إضافة إلى أهمية التدبر في آيات الله لفهم مقاصد الدين وتعميق الإيمان.

يعتبر الإمام المعلمي أن التربية الروحية الشاملة تُعزز من علاقة الإنسان بالله، وتُثمر في بناء مجتمع قوي يقوم على الإيمان الصادق والأخلاق النبيلة.
