Abstract
The study focuses on the Flower meristic changes that occur in Ziziphus. DNA analysis was conducted for the Ziziphus species in the study area to determine the species. Then, the flowers were pictured for the species that frequently exhibit changes in flower structure. The results show that Z. spina-christi exhibits this phenomenon while the other species do not. In addition, the study shows that not all flower organs change; the ovary retains the same structure in both pentamerous and tetramerous flowers.
