Our Journey in Advancing Science

The Inception

The Journal of Science traces its origins back to a simple idea - to push the boundaries of science for the benefit of mankind, born out of a commitment to foster scientific dialogue and disseminate research findings. Founded by a group of dedicated scientists and researchers, the Journal began as a quarterly publication intent on covering the most pressing and intriguing scientific questions of the day.

Milestones of Progress

Over the years, the Journal of Science has expanded its scope and frequency in response to the growing needs of the research community. We have transitioned from a print-only edition to embracing the digital era, providing immediate, open-access to our content globally. Each article, each issue, chronicles the evolution of scientific exploration and understanding.

A Commitment to Excellence

Throughout its history, the Journal of Science has remained steadfast in its commitment to publishing peer-reviewed, high-quality research. We have built a legacy on the pillars of integrity, diligence, and the pursuit of knowledge — principles that continue to guide our operations and aspirations.

The Future is Collaborative

As we look to the future, the Journal of Science is not just a repository of knowledge but a living, breathing forum for innovation. We continue to adapt, seeking new ways to support and amplify the voices of scientists who push the boundaries of discovery.

Thank You to Our Community

Our story is not ours alone; it is also the story of countless contributors, peer reviewers, editors, and readers who have played a part in our journey. To all of you who have entrusted your research to our pages and to those who have turned to our articles for insights and inspiration — we extend our deepest gratitude.

Join us as we continue to chart the course of scientific progress, one discovery at a time.

Peer Review Process

  • Editor(s) will conform and control the journal’s international standard peer review procedure.
  • Editor(s) ensure that all accepted manuscripts are peer reviewed by competent reviewers with a relevant expertise as concluded by their list of publications. Editor(s) should warrant nonexistence of any kind of conflict of interest for all peer reviewers.
  • Each manuscript should be reviewed by either two independent reviewers or just one reviewer nominated by the author.:  It is not suitable for the author to nominate the referee for their own work.
  • Editor(s) will abide by the international standard peer-reviewing rules, however, in certain unusual or emergent situations, Editor(s) may decide to accept publication on just one peer review statement if such report meets the peer-reviewing standards of the journal.
  • Peer review responses must be in English and offer helpful critical evaluations of all aspects of the submitted manuscript. Editorial decisions will not be made upon brief, shallow peer reviewer reports.
  • Manuscripts such as book reviews, opinion, or letters to the editor may be judged by the Editor(s) if the subject matter lie within their scientific capability. Otherwise, such topic should be evaluated by a single independent reviewer or assigned to a member of the Editorial or Advisory Boards.

We are pleased to share exciting news about the future direction of the Journal of Science. With a commitment to increasing the reach and impact of our published research, we are currently in the process of applying for inclusion in two of the world's most prestigious citation databases: SCOPUS and the Institute for Scientific Information (ISI). These indices are renowned for their rigorous selection criteria and their role in elevating the visibility of scholarly articles. Inclusion in SCOPUS and ISI will mark a significant milestone in the Journal of Science's history, reflecting the quality of our publications and expanding our audience.

As part of our journey towards achieving this goal, we have already implemented a robust digital infrastructure to support the dissemination and citation of the research we publish.

Every article appearing in the Journal of Science is now assigned a unique Digital Object Identifier (DOI), ensuring a permanent online presence and simplifying the citation process. This also aids in the safeguarding of citation accuracy and the tracking of digital usage metrics.

Additionally, the Journal of Science is listed with a print International Standard Serial Number (ISSN) - 1319-1012, an identifier that is instrumental for our journal’s registration with indexing databases.
