  • The arbitrator is committed to scientific integrity in arbitrating research without bias towards any considerations .
  • The arbitrator is obligated to decline to accept arbitration of a research paper outside his field of specialization or in which he does not have sufficient experience .
  • The arbitrator must treat the research received for arbitration as confidential documents, and must not disclose or discuss it with others .
  • The arbitrator may not exploit the research under arbitration in any way to achieve personal benefit for himself or others without justification, and he must disclose any conflict of interest .
  • The arbitrator is committed to ensuring that his comments on the research are detailed in accordance with the approved arbitration model, and that he is not satisfied with the general examination and arbitration, and that he directs his comments to the research and not to the researcher himself .
  • If the arbitrator refers to plagiarism in the scientific material he is arbitrating, the arbitrator is obligated to refer to the paragraphs in which plagiarism occurred, and attach evidence of that .
