1.2 Journal Overview
Established in 1973, Journal of King Abdulaziz University: Economics and Administration is an international, double-blind, peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by the Faculty of Economics and Administration at King Abdulaziz University. 1.3 Journal History
The journal was established in 1973 under the title Journal of Economics and Administration, issued by the Research and Development Center of the Faculty of Economics and Administration at King Abdulaziz University. Its early mission was to disseminate research in business, economics, management, and public administration.
In 1988, the journal adopted its current title, The King Abdulaziz University Journal: Economics and Administration, and came under the supervision of the Management of Scientific Journals and Books at King Abdulaziz University. This transition strengthened the journal's alignment with global standards of peer review, editorial quality, and scholarly publishing.
Today, Journal of King Abdulaziz University: Economics and Administration promotes intellectual dialogue among researchers, practitioners, and policymakers and supports scholarship aligned with innovation, sustainable development, and Saudi Vision 2030.

Journal of King Abdulaziz University: Economics and Administration is an open-access journal.
