Journal of Medical Rehabilitation Science is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by King Abdulaziz University. The journal is dedicated to publishing high-quality scholarly work that advances clinical practice, education, and scientific knowledge across the rehabilitation medical sciences and related disciplines. Journal of Medical Rehabilitation Science welcomes original research, reviews, clinical studies, and evidence-based contributions that support innovation and interdisciplinary collaboration in rehabilitation and allied health fields.
Peer Review Process
All submitted manuscripts to the Journal of Medical Rehabilitation Science undergo a rigorous peer-review process to ensure scientific quality, originality, and relevance.
Each submission is initially screened by the editorial office and assigned editors to assess suitability, scope alignment, and basic methodological and ethical compliance. Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are then sent for double-blind peer review to at least two independent expert reviewers.
Reviewer identities are concealed from authors, and author identities are concealed from reviewers throughout the review process. Reviewers evaluate the manuscript’s scientific merit, methodological rigor, clarity, and contribution to the field.
The Editor-in-Chief makes the final publication decision based on the reviewers’ recommendations, editorial assessment, and the overall quality of the work.
