Abstract

The Quran has shown great interest in promoting morals, as evident in its emphasis on virtues throughout the Noble Book of Quran, with forgiveness being one of the most prominent virtues, which is the subject of this research. The significance of this research is highlighted in several aspects, including the global need for such Quranic studies among Muslims, affirming the Quran's benefit to humanity universally, and the profound impact of ethics in general, and forgiveness specifically, on individuals and their surroundings. The research employed the following methodologies: inductive, objective, analytical, and retrieval. Among the primary objectives of the research were to elucidate the Quranic foundations for building human moral character, particularly regarding forgiveness, and to explore the impact of forgiveness on individual moral elevation and human progress. The research comprised an introduction, preamble, four chapters, and a conclusion, presenting key findings and recommendations, followed by a list of sources and references.

المستخلص

اهتم القرآن الكريم ببناء الأخلاق غاية الاهتمام، وجاء الأمر بمكارمها في مواضع شتى من الكتاب العزيز، ومن أهم هذه المكارم: خلق العفو والذي هو موضوع هذا البحث. وتظهر أهمية البحث في عدة أمور أهمها: حاجة المسلمين في أرجاء المعمورة إلى مثل هذه الدراسات القرآنية؛ والتي تؤكد على نفع القرآن للبشرية في كل زمان ومكان، وبيان الأثر العظيم للأخلاق عامة، ولخلق العفو خاصة على المتحلي بها أولا ثم على المحيطين به. واعتمد البحث على المناهج التالية: الاستقرائي والتحليلي والاستردادي. من أهم اهداف البحث: بيان التأصيل القرآني في بناء الجانب الأخلاقي للإنسان، ولخلق العفو خاصة، أثر العفو في السمو الأخلاقي للفرد والرقي الإنساني. اشتمل البحث على: مقدمة، وتمهيد، وأربعة مباحث، ثم خاتمة؛ تضمنت أهم النتائج والتوصيات، يليها قائمة بالمصادر والمراجع.
