The Scientific Publishing Center at King Abdulaziz University (KAU) was established in 1405 AH and functions as the principal body responsible for overseeing scientific publishing activities within the university, operating under the administrative supervision of the Vice President for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research. It was created to prepare and publish the university’s intellectual output according to international publishing standards, including editing, documentation, and printing, ensuring that publications reach their intended audiences through diverse distribution channels. The center manages the publication of academic journals, reference books, research papers, textbooks, and conference proceedings. It also operates a fully equipped modern printing press to support university needs and publishes an annual legal encyclopedia compiling Saudi laws and regulations. Through its work, the center provides a platform that supports and encourages high-quality research and contributes to advancing knowledge locally and globally.
